Looks like the Frank Sinatra bio picture that Martin Scorsese announced about two years ago is still a possibility. Maybe late 2012 after another film with Robert DeNiro is finished.
While promoting his upcoming movie, “Hugo,” director Scorsese mentioned that he was scheduled to revisit a new approach to the Sinatra movie script this coming January.
Again, Leonardo DiCaprio's name was mentioned as the possible lead. Last year there was talk that DiCaprio would not only play Frank, but he would do his OWN singing!
How could anyone even think of making a Sinatra movie without Frank's voice?
The Sinatra family, led by Tina, supposedly have final script approval.
The first script was reported to present too much of Frank's factual or mythical dark side.
