Martin Scorsese, ‘Hugo’ gets Royal Treatment: First 3D movie premiere (photos)

Martin Scorsese, Chloe Moretz, and Sir Ben Kingsley got a Royal premiere in London for the movie Hugo on Monday. For the first time ever, a movie was chosen for the special event that was a 3D type presentation for the Royals and their distinguished guests to view. A special moment not only for Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, but also for Martin Scorsese as it is another first in his legendary film career.

Walking the red carpet, the primary entertainers of the evening looked to be delighted to be attending, but so did the guests. Rod Stewart and his family arrived for the premiere event along with Damian Lewis. The opportunity to see the next family film before opening in the local theaters on Friday wasn’t lost for most celebrities.

Hugo is a film based in fantasy an orphan boy who lives in the wall of a Paris train station during the 1930’s. The child is on a mission to unlock a secret left by his father and takes means to accomplish the journey.
