On March 18 Technology Tell shares that the long awaited HBO rock 'n' roll pilot that Martin Scorsese has been promising is finally becoming a reality. He has found some top-notch casting that is going to make for a great HBO series.

Included in the casting line up are big names such as Bobby Cannavale, Olivia Wilde, Juno Temple, Max Casella, and Jack Quaid.

While most names might not sound familiar, you do know them all from their various roles through TV and film. Wilde is a "House" veteran, while Casella is best known for his role as Vinnie Delpino on "Dougie Houser, MD." He also had a bit part in "Boardwalk Empire" with Bobby Cannavale.

The 1970s rock 'n' roll pilot is only now just beginning but it has been so low-awaited that HBO might as well just order it now so that they can get to filming. Other big names included in the production of the pilot include Mick Jagger, Terence Winter,Brian Koppelman, and David Levien.

Would you watch a 1970s inspired rock 'n' roll HBO series?
