Martin's Crosswinds hosts MSEA 29th annual Dr. MLK, Jr. tribute breakfast

What: You’re invited to experience MSEA's 29th annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemorative Breakfast and Minority Recognition Awards Program.

You should know, the Maryland State Education Association (MSEA) will be awarding the 2014 Minority Recognition and Community Involvement Award to Rhonda Thomas, Calvert County and the Dorothy Lloyd Women's Rights Award to Linda Linzey, Baltimore County and long time volunteer at the Maryland Women's Heritage Center. Special guest for this event is Reg Weaver, former president of the National Education Association.

Did you know? Maryland State Education Association members consist of teachers, education support professionals, administrators, certificated specialists, higher education faculty, and student and retired members focused on creating great public schools for every child in Maryland.

Who: Open to general public, RSVP by January 13, 2014.

When: Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. event starts at 9:45am
