Christopher Horton, 20, a martial arts instructor from Highland Park pleaded guilty on Friday after he was accused of sexually abusing his students. Charges included  counts of sexual exploitation of a minor and  count of attempted sexual exploitation of a minor as young as 6-years old. During the time of his arrest in February 2013, Horton was charged with  counts of predatory criminal sexual assault and  count of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.
Reportedly, Horton video-recorded himself engaging in sexual relations with at least three kids going back to May 2012 to February 2013. His hunting grounds included Madison and Saint Clair Counties. The police recovered nearly 60 videos footage of child pornography from Horton's residence. Horton was an instructor at Three-Tigers Martial Arts in Belleville. Sentencing is scheduled for 7-March 2014 and faces up to 30-years in prison for each count which means that if served consecutively, Horton could be facing up to 180-years in prison but if sentenced concurrently, he could face up to only 30-years in prison.
