Jeramy Hale and Molly Sacco Hale (who was also profiled here earlier, see link) and both newly ranked yondans (4th degree black belts) contacted me that there will be a benefit concert this Saturday to support their non-profit Ability Production. Although a chance of rain is predicted, I’m sure it will be warm and cozy and lots of fun inside. Molly, as many of you know, has been unusually successful over the last 18yrs in rehabilitating her quadriplegic body using practical, functional, and accessible methods that are clearly transferrable to others. Through Ability Production this information is shared for free.
Here’s the basic information from the Ability Production Benefit Concert’s FB page:
“Please come and fill the house at the Palo Alto Children's Theatre for the benefit concert in support of Molly Sacco Hale's and Jeramy Hale's next project to create short videos that share their uncommon, practical and personal wisdom regarding maximal rehabilitation from spinal cord injury. These videos will serve as a knowledge-bank for patients; care providers, family members and anyone interested in the healing process and general quality of life.
“Get your tickets today and learn more on the Ability Production website: http://www.abilityproduction.org/events/.” Or, call: 650-329-9007.
Jeramy added this:
“Some of you have inquired about a lower priced ticket ... so in response we have added a $25 general admission with the hope that no one will be left out. The evening's program will also include a performance by Molly and Jeramy. Yes ... that's right ... Molly and Jeramy are going to be Taylor Eigsti's opening act.”
The price of admission will be worth seeing this “opening act” – and you’ll be supporting a great cause.
And one more note from Jeramy:
“Hey !!!!! I just wanted to tell everyone that Taylor Eigsti will be hanging with us at the reception after the concert. This is a great opportunity to meet him. Besides being a world renowned jazz pianist and composer ... he's a super nice guy. Come on!!! Where else can you buy a ticket to a concert ... know that what you spend is going to support work that will benefit a lot of people who need our help ... have a portion of it be tax deductible ... see one of the top jazz pianists on the planet ... then hang out with him while you drink a great wine and have a delicious hors d ouerve? Seriously ... does it get any better than that???”
Don’t let a few sprinkles deter you. Come out and support Jeramy's and Molly’s great work in the world. They are two martial artists who are really making a difference!
