Martha Coakley is wrong for Nassau County and the country

Tuesday, January 19, 2010, A Critical Election Will Take Place To Fill Ted Kennedy's Seat In Massachusetts

Although this election is not specifically for any seats in New York or Nassau County, the result will have implications far beyond the borders of Massachusetts.

Martha Coakley the Democrat has recently stated in a debate that the war in Afghanistan has been won, and that no terrorists exist there anymore. Is this the type of ignorant representation that we want in a seat that is so critical in the balance of power? A seat so critical in the fight for and against the healthcare bill the Democrats are trying to push through?

I don't think so. Scott Brown would seem to be the more logical alternative for a variety of reasons, but importantly for the good of Nassau County in the fight against new taxation coming out of Washington on the middle class.
