Marsha Brantley vanished over four years ago, but there is finally some new movement in her case. This Aug. 27, 2013 report shares that her husband has been arrested and charged with her murder -- a move that has apparently been long in the making. The woman wasn't reported missing for six months even though she had last been seen in June of 2009. This instantly made Donnie Ray Brantley someone of interest for investigators, as well as the public. After all, he would have never even reported the woman missing himself had it not been for one of her friends. This suspicious behavior attracted all eyes on him, and for good reason apparently.
There aren't many available details on Donnie Ray's arrest, but it's known that he was arrested on Monday after he appeared in court on an unrelated charge. It could be speculated that it took this "unrelated" court summons to even get close to him to arrest him for this crime. It would be interesting to see what kind of physical evidence exists against the Ga. man. He is currently being held in Bradley County Jail on $500,000 bond -- and it's unlikely that he could afford to post that massive amount. That gives investigators time to do thorough searches of his personal property to determine where Marsha's body could be hidden, along with any other evidence.
