Marriage-hungry Kim Kardashian dumped by Reggie Bush?

New Orleans Saints running back Reggie Bush has dumped reality tv star Kim Kardashian because she was pushing him to get married, reports RadarOnline.

Kim's reps have confirmed the split to numerous media outlets, with unnamed sources claiming Bush, 24, broke it off with Kardashian, 29, because he couldn't handle her fame.

But insiders tell Radar that Reggie dumped Kim because he didn't want to get married -- something Kim had been insisting on recently.

Tellingly, the breakup news comes just days after Kardashian posted a photo of herself holding a friend's newborn baby, with Bush at her side.

"Kim has been pushing for marriage, especially since [her 25-year-old sister] Khloe got hitched," says a source. "She feels it's the next step for her and Reggie. But Reggie knows deep down in his heart that he doesn't want to marry Kim."

Adds the insider: "He wants a wife that is a support system to him and would be a stay-at-home mom to his children. Reggie loves Kim but he knows that's just not her. He loves her drive and ambition, he truly loves her, but he knows she's just not the right kind of girl for him to marry."

Another point of contention was lifestyle. Kim lives in Los Angeles, while Reggie is based in New Orleans during the football season.

"Kim is so caught up in the whole Hollywood thing, and that's totally not Reggie's scene," the source says. "He's a jock, he's a ball player, that's his career and his life, and he just feels that Kim doesn't fit 100% into that."

The insider added: "Reggie didn't want to string Kim along, he basically told her that she deserves to be with someone that can make the commitment that she wants."

He adds: "Kim is devastated, she loves Reggie with all her heart and truly believed that he would be her husband and the father of her children. She's so maternal and is really in the place for kids right now - that's just been amplified by the birth of Mason, her nephew [the son of Kim's older sister Kourtney, 30]."

Kardashian and Bush first began dating in 2007, and then briefly split up in 2009.

After reconciling in August 2009, Kim claimed her time apart had solidifed the couple's feelings for one another. Kim then moved out of her condo and bought a house in Beverly Hills, presumably so she and Reggie could move in together.

Meanwhile, Bush--whose New Orleans Saints won the 2010 Superbowl in February, has reportedly been spotted chatting up hot women in NYC nightclubs.

Kardashian is currently in Miami, hawking the diet pill QuickTrim and filming her sisters' reality show, Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami, a spinoff of her hit show, Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
