I look forward to the day where everyone can get married to the person they love. I can't wait to see the day it's not called gay marriage; it's just a marriage. I mean come on who can honestly tell me that a cake topper with two boys kissing isn't adorable? Or the exciting tv series that will start showing two bridezillas instead of one?! Mostly I just like the idea of two soulmates getting to grow old together, share a last name, share health care benefits, and be called a family by all the close minded fools who scream against their love.
Some states are being won but the fight isn't over yet and it's a long road ahead. There is so much I want to say about this subject but there is not enough space or time. I look forward to the day marriage is reclaimed as a union of two souls, not a religious rite or political statement.
