"Marriage Boot Camp" couple Sofia and Shaun are fighting back against a WE TV promo, which seems to insinuate that Shaun Sulligan is gay.

In 2009, Sulligan shot two scenes for a website called "Straight Guys For Gay Eyes," in which he was seen with a woman, in the first clip, and by himself, in the second clip.

After the news of his porn past was leaked online, Shaun told TMZ he deeply regretted doing the videos, and only did it because he was homeless at the time, and living out of his vehicle. He also assured TMZ he would never consider doing something of that nature again.

Along with the publication, it was reported that Shaun was upset that WE TV would leak the story (although it is unclear if it has been confirmed they did so), especially since it was never an issue for him and Sofia.

Shaun and Sofia are also upset about the recently released promo for "Marriage Boot Camp," and have released a statement via their rep in an effort to straighten out all the gay rumors regarding Shaun.

"Sofia and Shaun are clearing the air after viewing this Friday's Marriage Boot Camp promo video," the couple's rep said in a statement to The Examiner on April 15. "The filming was twenty one days in total in which the newlywed couple undoubtedly had sex. Their sex life is understandably something they wanted to keep private so they chose to only have sex in the bathroom where there were no cameras."

"What we are seeing this promo video is Sofia asking if Shaun wanted to have sex in the bed and Shaun refusing which 'in reality' ended with the couple going into the bathroom," the statement continued. "Sofia and Shaun find these editing tactics unfortunate and feel the viewers deserve to hear the truth."

In the promo for "Marriage Boot Camp," Shaun is said to be "turned off" and refusing to have sex with his wife. The clip also teases, "Find out what he's hiding," which appears to be a clear nod to his porn past.

"Marriage Boot Camp" is all new this Friday at 9 p.m. on WE TV.
