Marni, the Italian fashion label that is on the forefront of charitable contributions to support educational institutes and associations for children has released a limited edition collection of tee shirts that have drawings from children all around the world on them as part of the Children's Imaginary World 2013 charity project.
Children from countries like Columbia, Japan and Kenya were invited to draw a story following the theme, 'Nature in my country' which were then translated onto jersey tee shirts. Profits from the sales will go to various schools and organizations that support the imagination and creativity of the children and raise hopes for a wonderful future with an aim to celebrate childhood and nurture individuality.
In this year's collection there are three shirts to choose from. The first one depicts two little girls with small animals, a cat surrounded by polka dots and a field of marguerites. The shirts are currently available online at http://www.marni.com and will be a part of the Marni Virtual Store permanent collection. Also the tee shirts can be purchased at Marni boutiques worldwide. Cost of a tee shirt is $170 for the short sleeve crew neck tee shirts.
