Come one, come all! Calling all dog and pet enthusiasts!
The time for the 7th Annual Beacon Barks Parade is quickly approaching!
The parade is currently set for: Saturday, April 27th from 10am until 3pm.
The rain date for the event will be on the following Sunday, April 28th at the same times.
What is the Beacon Barks Parade?
The Beacon Barks Parade is the Valley’s one and only community parade celebrating our dogs and all the hard work performed from the region’s animal shelters, rescues and welfare groups. All proceeds from the parade and the day’s events will help benefit numerous dog and animal non-profit groups.
What happens at the Parade?
The day starts with a parade down Main Street, Beacon. Once finished there is a large street festival consisting of numerous vendors (pet themed and non-pet themed) live music, good food and great entertainment.
Can the whole family enjoy the day?
There is always something for everyone at the Parade and Festival. There are numerous dogs of all shapes and sizes to see. There are great performances by acrobatic dogs. There are vendors showing products. There is music and fun for all.
What does it cost?
That’s the great part! The parade is free and open to everyone with or without a dog companion!
Can my dog come?
As long as you keep your pet on a leash (for his or her own safety) and they are friendly with people and dogs alike, then they are always welcome to join the festivities. Please note that there is the occasional cat on leash at the parade as well!
