Mark your calendars as the 21st annual Wisconsin Garden Expo is coming up soon! It is scheduled for
Feb 7 – 9, 2014. It is once again being held at Alliant Energy Center, Exhibition Hall, in Madison, WI.

With more than 150 seminars, demonstrations and workshops, vendors, displays, raffle, seeds, tools, publications, artists and more, you are sure to be inspired.

General Admission

One-day ticket - $7 in advance/$8 at the door

Two-day ticket – $11 in advance/$12 at the door

Three-day ticket – $16 in advance/$17 at the door

Children 12 and under are free.

On Friday it is open 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., Sat 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All seminars and demonstrations at Garden Expo are free. No registration required; however seating is limited. The topics range from growing mushrooms to harvesting maple syrup from backyard trees, bee and chicken keeping, designing perennial beds, creating new peony varieties, edible landscaping, lasagna gardening, storm water run off, herbal medicine making, seasonal cooking tips and so much more. Hands-on workshops have a cost that covers supplies and instructions, the price varies according to class. Advance registration for the hands-on workshops is available online at http://www.store.wigardenexpo.com through Feb. 3. During Garden Expo, registrations for remaining workshop openings will be taken at the Wisconsin Public Television booth.

There is also a raffle with fabulous prizes. Tickets are $2.00 each or 3 for $5.00, with proceeds going to benefit Wisconsin Public Television. You must be 18 or older and do not need to be present to win. Here is a list of raffle prizes:
