Mark (née Marky Mark) Wahlberg threw out a first pitch at Monday’s Boston Red Sox game that rivaled Howard Stern Show producer Baba Booey’s disastrous throw at the Mets game in May. Mark Wahlberg’s pitch mimicked Baba Booey’s in that it went grossly wide, but the pitches were by no means identical. Mark Wahlberg appeared to overthrow the ball, while Baba Booey from the Howard Stern Show simply and limply let go of the ball mid-throw.
The Red Sox graciously allowed Mark Wahlberg a “do-over” pitch, on which he did much better. Baba Booey was granted no such reprieve, and has been relentlessly ridiculed by his Howard Stern Show co-hosts since his May 9th debacle on the mound.
