Mark Sanchez is no longer a part of the New York Jets football team, but he might not be without a team for long. He now has the focus of at least three other teams currently. On March 24, NFL.com reported that the Philadelphia Eagles are interested in picking up the former N.Y. Jets quarterback.
Right now, the team is taking a look at the player and his medical history. He is back to throwing a football after a shoulder injury. If he is cleared medically to play, the Eagles will move to add him to their roster. He sat out the 2013 season after being injured during preseason.
However, Mark Sanchez has also caught the eye of other NFL teams as well. The New York Giants are also looking at the quarterback, and the St. Louis Rams have also taken a look at him as well. Both the Tennessee Titans and Cleveland Browns have also expressed an interest. Sanchez was just released back on Friday by the New York Jets after failing a physical, according to Yahoo Sports.
It isn't clear where Sanchez will end up. It is possible he will not end up anywhere at all. The Eagles just lost Michael Vick to the New York Jets, so they do have back up spot to fill. Sanchez is showing that people are still interested in him, but he did not perform well when he played for the New York Jets.
Where do you think he will end up? Or will his injury keep him from continuing his career in the NFL?
