Mark Salling, who plays Noah “Puck” Puckerman on Fox’ hit show Glee, has been sued for sexual battery on allegations he refused to wear a condom while having sex with his ex-girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela. Gorzela also alleges that after the incident, she confronted Salling as to whether he had STDs and the inquiry caused Salling to become violent. TMZ posted photos of Gorzela’s alleged injuries she reportedly sustained after Salling pushed her to the ground. Attorney Philip J. Layfield represents Gorzela.
Salling’s publicist Janice Lee released a statement to TMZ. It reads, “There is no truth to this. It's the textbook case of a disgruntled girl looking to cash in on a TV star's success. We turn the rest over to Mark's attorneys and have no further comment.”
According to the suit, Gorzela and Salling began dating in Sept. 2010. In March 2011, Gorzela had planned a trip to Canada. Prior to leaving for the journey, she and Salling became intimate. She stated that she agreed to have sex with the 30-year-old singer and actor; only on the condition he wore a condom. The suit alleges that Salling ignored her request and entered Gorzela without a condom. After Gorzela demanded Salling stop, he pulled out, then reinserted himself again, without a condom. A police report was filed on March 29, 2011, where Gorzela claims Salling battered her after she went to his house to discuss her concerns that he refused to use a condom. TMZ reports that when Gorzella arrived at Salling’s residence, he was in bed with another woman.
