The film follows Gabe Marcel (Giancarlo Madonnini) whose sister Toni (Alyssa Freedman) goes missing from her New England College. Determined to help find her, Gabe rushes to the scene. Little does he know the situation is far more serious than he ever imagined. With time running out and police baffled at every turn, Gabe enlists the help of Lacey (Shannon Carter), the sister of a detective on the case. Together they must race to pick up where police left off, but soon Gabe and Lacey find themselves locked into a game of cat and mouse with evil itself.
Shot in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, "Mark of the Dog Rose" features an all New England cast, with numerous local musicians on soundtrack.
