The ‘Dancing With the Stars’ pro is in the hospital after an auto accident, according to TMZ. It was announced on June 16 that Ballas had been admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after complaining of back pain and whiplash. According to TMZ, Ballas was trying to turn when a speeding car crashed into the back of his vehicle. Fortunately, Ballas’ injuries are not serious. He was prescribed pain medication. He was scheduled to perform at a charity event and a few other shows (as a musician) over the next few days. According to his website, none of these events have been cancelled, so it seems safe to assume he’s able to perform. The 28-year-old has been a professional partner on ‘DWTS’ since 2007. He won the show twice, once with Kristi Yamaguchi and once with Shawn Johnson. He is also a musician, who was part of a pop group with fellow ‘DWTS’ dancers Derek and Julianne Hough. He released a solo album in 2011. Ballas has also appeared in several movies and television shows.
