Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower from Dancing with the Stars danced in front of the Capitol on the Fourth of July for the annual PBS special that aired last night. The two danced while singer Jordin Sparks sang “Beauty and the Beast” in celebration of the American classic’s 20th anniversary. The end result was a beautiful mixture of song and dance that captivated millions of TV viewers. Mark Ballas was especially impressive because he danced with a rolled ankle that continues to give him problems. Viewers had no clue of the injury because he danced so beautifully.
Apparently, Mark Ballas and Chelsie Hightower from Dancing with the Stars were so impressed with the Fourth of July TV event that they have been tweeting about their experiences.

Thank you for all the sweet comments about a Capitol Fourth. We had a blast and hope you all enjoyed it.
I’m partying with Congress on the Fourth of July…epic.
Jimmy Smits hosted this year’s 90-minute patriotic extravaganza called "A Capitol Fourth" that also included performances by Steve Martin, Josh Groban, Matthew Morrison from Glee, Broadway star Kelli O’Hara, and the National Symphony Orchestra. In celebration of America's 235th birthday, the show was capped off with a rousing rendition of Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" complete with live cannon fire provided by the United States Army Presidential Salute Battery. It was the 35th airing of A Capitol Fourth on PBS.
