'Storage Wars' star dies: Did Mark Balelo commit suicide?

Mark Balelo is dead. Just two days after Balelo was arrested for drug possession, he was found dead. On Feb. 12, Us Weekly reported that Balelo -- who starred in a few episodes of "Storage Wars" -- was found dead at his auction house in Ventura County. A cause of death is unknown at this point but his body is being examined and an autopsy report is expected some time this week. If his death was drug-related, that information will not be released for another 4-6 weeks pending a toxicology report.

"Balelo was arrested for alleged possession of a controlled substance on Saturday, Feb. 9. He was scheduled to appear in court on Feb. 19," Us Weekly reports. This makes many believe that Balelo's death was drug-related or even suicide.

Mark Balelo was found dead presumably by police. There have been some conflicting reports about where his body was located, however. According to TMZ, Balelo was found inside his car, which was running inside his garage in Simi Valley, Calif. TMZ also reports that Balelo's death was indeed suicide.

"When Balelo got out of jail he was distraught, and asked his fiancée to come over because he was afraid he might hurt himself... They met at his office on Sunday, they talked for a few hours, he took a 4 hour nap -- and when he woke up seemed better," TMZ reported.

Mark Balelo was found dead in his car the next day. Balelo was 40-years-old.
