Mark as urgent- last day to request dedicated song for your sweetheart

You read about Noah Griffin here a few days ago, but now that there are only a few days to go until February 12 for Noah Griffin’s Rrazz Room romantic afternoon I thought I should tell you how it will work.

Well, it will work gorgeously because Noah is that kind of performer. I say performer instead of simply “singer” because his songs go beyond song. Part of the concert’s beauty is that Noah will dedicate a song you love to the person you love, and do it right form the stage. If you remember the song “Dedicated to the One I Love” (The Shirelles and then the Mama’s & the Papas), you will know what the day holds in store and the power of a dedicated song.

Okay, back to business. Noah will sing the first 20 songs that he knows (and he knows a heap of them), and you make your request to him via his email address. Today! at noah@noahgriffin.com. The point is to hurry on up here and get those requests in to Noah by this evening by 7 and not a minute later so he can get your song into his rehearsal schedule.Truth is that if you miss the time deadline in asking for a favorite standard there is a chance that some other amorous soul will have already requested it. But let Noah know you want it anyway so your sweetheart will know you took an active part in the romantic festival of dedicated songs.

And, since I am all about love letters, naturally I have a thought in that direction. How about writing a love letter to your sweetheart right now and just slipping it to him or her at the Rrazz Room right after Noah plays your song? Keep in mind that a love letter can be long enough to tell all the reasons for your love or as short as those most-famous three little words.

So, be there or be square. Or be there and be square. Hardly matters, just be there for the joy of Noah and of the joy of seeing if you don’t just get weak in the knees all over again at the very sound of the songs you first fell in love to.

The Hotel Nikko Rrazz Room 222 Mason St., San Francisco, CA Sunday, February 12th, 3PM. Tickets: www.therrazzroom.com
