Polish strongman Mariusz Pudzianowski has made a successful debut in MMA, beating former boxer Marcin Najman.
The entire fight lasted just 45 seconds, and was dominated by Mariusz, who unleashed some vicious looking leg kicks to floor his opponent. From there ground and pound quickly had Najman tapping out.
A promising start from Pudzianowski, who many had pegged as something of a novelty after his world's strongest man career. Far from the freakshow some were expecting though, Pudzianowski seems to be serious about MMA, and has a good balance of skills at this stage. Whether he will ever fight in one of the bigger organizations isn't clear just yet, but if he continues to improve he would make an interesting signing for any promotion.
