Marion Cotillard is nominated for a 2013 SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role for her turn in the movie, “Rust and Bone.” The other nominees in her category include Jennifer Lawrence (“Silver Linings Playbook”), Helen Mirren (“Hitchcock”), Jessica Chastain (“Zero Dark Thirty”) and Naomi Watts (“The Impossible”).
She may be partial to her Christian Dior couture dresses/ Raf Simons’/Galliano collections for Dior, but Cotillard is also open to other designers for her red carpet appearances. She’s worn everyone from Nina Ricci to Elie Saab. Not known for playing it safe on the red carpet, this fashionista marches to her own fashion beat and that is why she is always a red carpet favorite.
Cotillard strayed from Dior on the Critics’ Choice Awards red carpet where she looked fabulous in a Zuhair Murad dress and Jimmy Choo shoes. She accessorized with Christian Louboutin clutch and requisite Chopard jewels. She stayed in her comfort zone on the Golden Globes 2013 red carpet in a red Christian Dior haute couture dress, Dior shoes, a Christian Louboutin clutch and Chopard jewels, of course.
While most of us expect her to don another Dior dress at the SAG awards, we hope she gives another designer a spin. We are betting on Chopard jewels, Jimmy Choo or Louboutin heels and a Louboutin clutch.
The SAG awards will air live at 8 p.m. EST on Jan. 27 on TNT and TBS.
