Mario Lopez's daughter is going to be a big sister. Mario and his wife, Courtney, are so excited to be welcoming their second child later this year. The "Extra" TV host made the announcement on Feb. 19 according to E! Online. The couple got married in December in Mexico, meaning that Courtney could have been pregnant at the time (or maybe their wedding consummation did the trick).
"I am the happiest father in the world. We cannot wait to welcome baby Lopez No. 2 into our lives," said Mario. He and Courtney have said that they would love to have another baby and the time has come.
Mario Lopez's daughter, Gia, was born on September 11, 2010. She will be just over 2.5-year-old when the Lopez's welcome their new bundle of joy, said to be arriving over the summer. He and Courtney have not announced whether their new addition will be a boy or a girl, but they will be happy either way. Certainly it is nice to have one of each and Lopez would love a little "mini-me!"
It is unknown how many children Mario and Courtney would like to have but they seem to really enjoy being parents so hearing about babies #3 and/or #4 won't be surprising. They are looking forward to becoming a family of four and they will see how that goes before deciding what to do next.
Mario Lopez and his daughter have a great relationship. Whenever you see them in pictures, Mario has the biggest smile on his face. He was just meant to be a dad.
