Nintendo’s General Manager stated that the company is planning to launch “Mario Kart 8” and “Super Smash Bros. 4” sometime during the spring season of next year. Although his comments aligned with previous reports of the release date for the arcade racing game, it is also the first time anyone from Nintendo has narrowed down the release date for the crossover fighting title. For next spring two more big license games are also announced for our TV console with Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros.

“Mario Kart 8” is being developed by Nintendo EAD while “Super Smash Bros. 4” is being worked on by Sora and Namco Bandai Games. The newest “Mario Kart” entry will only be available on the Nintendo Wii U. On the other hand, “Super Smash Bros. 4” is due to come out on the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U gaming platforms.
