Mario Balotelli has left Italian club AC Milan to go play for English club Liverpool FC. Balotelli will be making a comeback to the Barclays Premier League after leaving Manchester City a year ago.

As reported on Thursday, the Italian striker Balotelli has agree to transfer to Liverpool with a £16m fee. Word is that Liverpool is looking to upgrade their attacking options and to fill up the void that Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez left behind, who has been recently signed by FC Barcelona.

Balotelli who played with AC Milan for one season after leaving Manchester City had a decent season with the Italian club. Milan itself did not have a good season, but Balotelli scored 30 in 54 games while playing in Serie A with the Italian club.

The official website for Milan posted a message for their fans stating that Mario Balotelli left the club at 1:30 pm and said good bye to all his teammates and club personnel. Balotelli had actually left Milan before a free price was settled.

It was also reported on Thursday by Skysports that Balotelli might not get to play in the starting line up. Currently, Liverpool FC is set with strikers having Daniel Sturridge as their main man up front.

Also, Balotelli is known for his on and off the field antics. The Italian striker is known for his short fuse and bad attitude, causing disciplinary problems that lead to cards. In the end, Liverpool will just have to see how Balotelli will behave with them.

Balotelli did get a deal by moving back to England playing for Liverpool FC. Currently, AC Milan is not doing well, and by the looks of their performance at the Guinness International Champions Cup played in the USA earlier this summer, which they came in last place in their group, this do not look very promising for the next Serie A season. Mario Balotelli will also have another chance to prove his abilities as a player with another outfit.
