The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Marine Debris Program is hosting the 2011 "Keep the Sea Free of Debris" 2011 art contest.
Students in grades K-4 and 5-8 should submit a piece of artwork on 8.5x11" plain white paper and 50 word description illustrating how they are affected by marine debris and what they can do about it.
Artwork and accompanying entry forms must be postmarked by April 16.
