Marine Corps Air Station Yuma: Huge air show slated for March 9th, 2013

The 2013 MCAS Airshow is appropriately themed, “Saluting our brave and time-honored Korean and Vietnam War Veterans.” The event will encompass static displays from the Korean and Vietnam War eras, modern aircraft displays- to include the first time public display of the F-35B II Joint Strike Fighter, live air performances, and more. This is the largest air show in the Southwest.

They continue to see an exponential growth in the amount of spectators that attend the air show. It is expected that the 2013 airs how will attract 55,000+ spectators. The air show industry represents one of the very largest, if not the largest outdoor professional sports in North America.

Cost: The grandstands provide a great view from general admission bleacher seats. First come, first served seating. Stroller parking is available in a designated area behind the Grandstands. Strollers are not permitted in the grandstand seating area. Online Price: Adults: $5, Child (Ages 6-12): $5. There are more costly seating options as well. Tickets are available online.
