Marina and the Diamonds announces spring 2013 North American tour dates (Video)

On Jan. 28 the Welsh singer-songwriter Marina and the Diamonds announced headlining tour dates for the spring of 2013. The North American "Lonely Hearts Club" tour begins May 2 in Seattle and ends May 29 in New York City. Marina and the Diamonds will be performing in Chicago on May 20 at the Vic Theatre.

During Marina and the Diamonds' spring 2013 "Lonely Hearts Club" tour she will perform 19 shows over a month long time span. She will be touring in support of her second studio album, "Electra Heart" which was released in the U.S. on July 10. 2012 via Atlantic Records/Elektra Records. The album debuted at No. 31 on the U.S. Billboard 200 chart.

Tickets for the North American leg of Marina and the Diamonds' "Lonely Hearts Club" tour goes on sale beginning Feb. 1. English singer-songwriter Charli XCX will provide direct support on the entire tour.
