Marin Sonoma Beatles Festival planned for July in Northern California

The Sheraton Sonoma Hotel in Petaluma, CA., will be the site of the Marin Sonoma Beatles Festival, which takes place July 28, Doctor Robert of BeatlesRadio.com, which is organizing the event, told Beatles Examiner Saturday.

The show will be headlined by The Silver Beatles tribute band from Southern California. The band will do two sets with the first at 3:30 p.m. covering Beatles songs from 1962 to 1966, and the second set at 5:30 p.m. with music from the Fab Four's 1967 to 1970 period. A tribute band from Sebastapol, The Pepperland Band, will open the show at 1 p.m.

The festival, which will include a dealer's room and door prizes, will be hosted by Doctor Robert. Doors will open at noon. Further details and tickets are at www.marinsonomabeatlesfestival.com.
