The Hollywood Reporter states that Marilyn Manson will have his new song “Cupid Carries a Gun” featured on an upcoming episode of the new period drama “Salem.” The song has Manson's distinctive style and even has hints of his notable material like “The Beautiful People.” Speaking about the new song Manson states:

“The song 'Cupid Carries a Gun' was the last track we just finished for my new album. The occult and witchcraft [are] so often used in cinema with a heinous disregard for even researching its origins. However, I liked the themes of 'Salem'. It looks at the witch trials without being cliche like most modern films.”

The episode with the track will premiere April 27. A preview of the new song can be heard at The Hollywood Reporter.

Marilyn Manson spent last year touring in support of his 2012 album “Born Villain.” He is said to be working on a follow up release. He made his most recent appearance at Revolver Magazine's Golden Gods Awards to introduced metal band Slayer. For on Manson, visit his website.
