Marilyn Manson collapses onstage with the flu

Yesterday about an hour into his performance at Saskatoon’s TCU Place, shock rocker Marilyn Manson collapsed onstage after vomiting several times.

It took a minute for stagehands and fellow performers alike to realize this wasn’t part of the act before several stagehands jumped on stage to assist the 44-year-old.

In a Youtube video you can see, mid-way through “Beautiful People,” Manson throwing a kiss, then as he turns to face the back of the stage the singer goes down. However, the band continued to play and nobody came rushing to assist him. Once the crew realized he had passed out, several people came out to assist him off stage.

According to TMZ, sources close to the rocker said Manson was “feeling like crap” all day long, but refused to call off the concert. Once onstage he began to get worse and vomited several times prior to his collapse.

Manson was not in any danger and headed back to his hotel to get some much needed rest and focus on getting better. He’s hoping to perform Friday in Calgary.
