Marilyn Manson collapsed onstage during a concert in Canada on Wednesday night, and we've got the video (embedded). We've also got an update: Although it seems like a scary moment, apparently it was not a serious as it seemed.
Manson was halfway through a performance of his hit "Beautiful People" in Saskatoon when he suddenly stopped singing, turned to the side and collapsed on stage. The collapse can be seen on the embedded video at about 1:13.
The band kept on playing, but once stagehands rushed to Manson's side, concertgoers became aware that the fall wasn't a joke or part of the act. There are reports that Manson vomited onstage, but that is not shown on the video, unlike some other videos we have seen recently.
What happened to the rocker? Sources say that Manson was simply suffering from the flu. Although he had been feeling poorly all day long, he didn't want to call off the concert.
Additionally, despite the collapse, Manson wasn't taken to a hospital. Instead, he returned to his hotel room for some rest. He is determined to perform Friday night in Calgary.
