On March 20 Huffington Post shares that while attempting to cross the Canadian border at Ambassador Bridge in Detroit, Rihanna's 10 tour buses were held up as they were searched when authorities smelled marijuana.
Once a complaint about the smell was made, all of the buses were gone through one by one. Marijuana was found in one of the buses but Rihanna wasn't on any of the buses. The passenger found in possession was issued a civil penalty, similar to am American misdemeanor.
Most people know of Rihanna's love of marijuana considering there are several photos posted on her Twitter, Instagram and online of her smoking or drug paraphernalia Last Halloween, she even went dressed as "The Bride of Mary Jane." While nobody officially claimed that the marijuana was for her, it is more than likely.
Rihanna isn't the only one that has been caught attempting to take drugs over the boarder. Last September, Fiona Apple was also arrested for attempting to take marijuana over the Mexican border through Texas.
