Wendy’s is known as a “burger joint,” but who takes that literally? Evidently a reefer-smoking ex-employee at a Wendy’s restaurant in Ga. does, who said she “accidentally” left her blunt stuffed inside of a customer’s cheeseburger, reports TMZ on Thursday.
On Nov. 1, Wendy's employee Amy Seiber was arrested and soon became an ex-employee after police charged the 32-year-old with possession.
Not sure who I feel more sorry for in this story – the woman who ate part of the blunt and claims she suffered from symptoms similar to food poisoning and had to be hospitalized, or the 32-year-old employee working at a fast food restaurant sitting around smoking pot.
The woman took the burger home in a takeout order and after biting into it, she took her receipt and burger back to the restaurant and reported it to the manager, who then called the cops.
“They were able to speak with the suspect, who admitted that she was responsible,” Lovejoy police Lt. Michael Gaddis said. “[Seiber] had been smoking while she worked. When she was fixing the burger, part of the marijuana fell into the burger.”
Wendy’s has since offered to pay for the customer’s medical bills, and also gave her a $50 gift card.
While this story may be gross, it certainly is not nearly as nasty as a Subway "sandwich artist" who admitted to HuffPost Weird that he placed his penis on the store's sandwich bread in order to post his “foot-long” photos to Instagram.
Or the owner of a San Diego pizzeria who was allegedly caught on video masturbating in the restaurant's kitchen.
I think I will eat in today.
