Marietta's Gone With the Wind Museum

The Marietta Gone With the Wind Museum: Scarlett on the Square is in the heart of downtown Marietta, featuring movie memorabilia from the private belongings of Dr. Christopher Sullivan, an avid collector. On display are Scarlett’s honeymoon dress from Scarlett and Rhett’s trip to New Orleans, a tribute to the African American cast members, volumes of the novel that belonged to author Margaret Mitchell, foreign language editions of the novel, Ona Munson’s script (she played Belle Watling) and promotional items from the movie.

The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and it is located at 18 Whitlock Ave. in downtown Marietta. Group tours can be arranged for an admission fee of $5 per person, and admission for individuals and small groups is $7 for adults and $6 for students and seniors. The museum can be rented for private events. For more information about visiting or rentals, see the museum’s home page or call 770-794-5576.
