A late-night bar fight that occurred last Thursday at a local bar in Marietta has led to the arrest of two men who still remain behind bars.
According to the Marietta Police Department, the brawl occurred at Runaround Sue's off of Church Street Extension. A bouncer on duty attempted to break up the scuffle inside the club and was hit over the head with a glass bottle by 20-year-old Aslong Antwain Pierre. Afterwards, Pierre reportedly left the club, then returned with a hand gun that he pointed at the bouncer. As Pierre held the gun at the bouncer, 21-year-old Mark Lenard Pratt continued to fight another patron.
Pierre, who has a previous 2010 conviction, is facing a felony aggravated assault charge and a felony possession of a firearm by a convicted felon charge. Pratt is facing a misdemeanor battery charge. According to the arrest warrant, Pratt began to punch the victim in the head, face and eyes while Pierre held the bouncer back at gunpoint.
Per Officer David Bowman of the Marietta Police, the bouncer was left with a severe laceration on his head, a swollen eye and a bloody face.
Both assailants remain in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center with no bond.
