Marie Osmond's son committed suicide

Last night, February 26, Marie Osmond's son Michael Blosil committed suicide by jumping from his apartment building in downtown Los Angeles.

He left behind a note listing a lifelong battle with depression as part of the reason he decided to end his life.

Marie Osmond has released the following statement: "My family and I are devastated and in deep shock by the tragic loss of our dear Michael and ask that everyone respect our privacy during this difficult time."

Marie and her brother Donnie have canceled their Las Vegas performance for tonight.

If I were you, I'd be getting all over the "Cincinnati Pop Culture Examiner" for taking your story. Sounds like this should be your topic, not hers?!

Examiner articles are supposed to be at least 150-200 words long. Also, this has no Cincinati connection...This article does not meet any of Examiner.com's guide lines
