Treadmill and Pool Workouts
Mariah, who finally got pregnant last year after undergoing hormone treatments, has been doing lots of cardio exercise on the treadmill and weight workouts in the pool to get back in shape.
"She does long, long hours on the treadmill," said Cannon. "Obviously [she pays attention to her] diet and eating properly."
Mariah, who has battled weight issues for years, was thinner than ever in 2008 after following a strict high-protein, low-calorie, low-carb diet and working out 60-90 minutes a day.
Carey's weight has since fluctuated, but husband Nick gushes that the Grammy winner is more determined than ever to regain slender 1990 physique.
"I personally think she's going to come out looking better -- looking like it's 1990!" gushes Cannon.
"I think that's what she's aiming for, and I think she'll reach that goal."
