There's no place like home for the holidays. Unless, that is, you're Mariah Carey, who apparently feels that there's no place like NBC for the holidays. She's taking over the network, with appearances on "Today" multiple days in a row. In addition to her singing power, Mariah is earning praise for her fabulous physique.
And when it comes to what works for staying slim, Mariah contends that it's primarily diet.
"I used to be able to slim down just by exercising more, but that's changed. Since having the babies, I realize that 90 percent of losing weight is my diet," said the 43-year-old mother of twins.
Mariah lost her baby weight on Jenny Craig, serving as the company's celebrity spokeswoman, according to USA Today.
"I feel better in every way," Mariah revealed. "To me, it's mind, body and soul."
As for that 10 percent of losing weight remaining? Mariah believes in the mental and physical benefits of working out.
Today my workout routine is more about getting and staying toned. And for me, that means either taking hour-long walks a few times a week or jumping in the pool three or four days a week to do 45 minutes of aquatic exercises," she told Access Hollywood.
