Mariah Carey, recording artist diva, sat down with Barbara Walters on "Nightline" and shared her life as a mother, singer and relationship with Nicki Minaj on ABC News Monday, "The View" where highlights are seen. The full interview airs Monday, Jan. 7 on "Nightline."

Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj
Mariah says that when Nicki threatened her, she took it serious and hired more security. Mariah explained that when threats are made, working conditions are unsafe. Minaj said, "If I had a gun, I would shoot that b****." The relationship is stable for the time being.

Mariah allowed Barbara Walters to show off the twins, Monroe, "Miss Monroe" and Morrocan "Rock," as they call him. As you can see in the photos, the girl is wearing glasses. They are both cute.
Mariah talks "American Idol"
Mariah describes working on Idol as a huge opportunity. Mariah says she keeps focused on the contestants – they are the ones looking to advance. She says she has already been blessed to live her dream.

Barbara says that she has known Mariah a long time; she likes Mariah a lot, and that she is always vulnerable in interviews. Walters further adds, drama and discord add excitement to the popular "American Idol" talent show.

Mariah and Nick have been married for four years and renew their vows every year. One year they renewed their vows on the Eiffel Tower. Mariah says Nick is good with the kids.
