Mariah Carey, who's used to being cut off when commenting on "American Idol" contestant's performances, did some cutting of her own when Kree Harrison and Ryan Seacrest both tried to wish her a happy birthday on Wednesday night's show.
According to an article published by the Mail on March 28, the "Glitter" songbird refused to acknowledge the well wishes and went on with the show as if she hadn't heard a word.
Is it because she just turned (gasp!) 43?
One would never know it, as the mother of twins looked stunning in a glamorous red crossover gown which accentuated her curvy body and newly voluptuous frame. It's hard to believe that Carey has been on the music scene for 25 years now.
The AI judge gave birth to fraternal twins nearly two years ago and famously lost almost 70 pounds soon afterwards. It wasn't long before she was able to slip back into some of the skimpy outfits which only added to her fame.
Of course, it doesn't hurt that she's one of the greatest singers in history, with a voice that covers an incredible five octave range.
So, as a birthday gift (belated) to her fans, it's appropriate to take a stroll down memory lane with a slideshow of Maria Carey's best bikini shots.
Hopefully, this time, she won't mind the well wishes.
