Mariah Carey has confessed to Barbara Walters in her “Nightline” interview that she has hired more security following the feud with her fellow “American Idol” judge Nicki Minaj according to ABC News on Jan. 7.
There was a video released in October by TMZ of a very heated argument between Carey and Minaj and after the cameras were off Minaj took it even further by supposedly saying:
"If I had a gun, I would shoot that b**ch."
Minaj has denied saying anything about a gun.
Mariah has felt since the heated argument that it has been an unsafe work environment and felt the need to hire more security for the safety of her family.
This season of “American Idol” has already had so much drama surrounding it and it has not even began. It looks as if it could be an interesting one to say the least.
Mariah Carey is one of three judges on “American Idol.” Carey is joined by Keith Urban, Randy Jackson and Nicki Minaj. The new season will begin on Jan. 16.
