Looks like Mariah Carey hasn't lost her touch, as her new song "Almost Home" contains all of her signature vocals and gives fans a preview of what she may show on her upcoming album that is set to release sometime this year.
The single is the lead song of the "Oz the Great and Powerful" soundtrack.
On 'Good Morning America' the singer gave an exclusive preview of the music video for the new track where Carey is performing in a black gown in the short clip which was directed by David LaChapelle.
The new song has more of an up-tempo sound as Carey sings directly to character Dorothy saying "When you're almost there/ And you're almost home/ Just open up your eyes and go/ When you're almost there/ Almost home/ Know you're not alone/ You're almost home."
Carey reportedly wrote and produced the song with Stargate.
The full video for 'Almost Home' is set to be released on March 8, the same day as the film.
