Season 12 of “American Idol” premieres this Wednesday and Thursday, January 16 and 17, making it the perfect time for diva, singer/songwriter and newest judge on FOX’s reality music hit, Mariah Carey, to debut her latest business venture, lending her glitter name to an OPI collection of nail polish.
Mariah Carey will be joining fellow American Idol judge and hip hop star Nicki Minaj along with pop star and Justin Bieber’s on and off again girlfriend, Selena Gomez in creating a collection of dazzling nail polish for OPI.
The Mariah Carey Collection of OPI nail polish will be available sometime this month at JCPenney Salons located on Long Island in Garden City and Valley Stream and Ulta Beauty in Garden City and Levittown.
Included within the Mariah Carey Collection by OPI are eight nail colors befitting of the superstar’s status and polishes that change texture.
- Can’t Let Go: purple glitter liquid sand.
- The Impossible: red glitter liquid sand.
- Stay The Night: burgundy glitter liquid sand.
- Get Your Number: blue glitter liquid sand.
- Sprung: shimmery copper.
- Butterfly Moment: pale pink.
- Anti-Bleak: royal purple.
- Pink Yet Lavender: chunky pink glitter.
