Not only can Mariah Carey fans watch the star on American Idol ever week, now they can smell like her too. The entertainer announced on Wednesday that she has a fragrance available for the fans to smell good. Called Mariah Carey Dreams, the perfume is only available at one retailer and no doubt there will be a run on the product very soon.
“I'm SO excited to finally be able to reveal my new fragrance #MariahCareyDreams - a limited time exclusive at Kohl’s!” tweeted Mariah Carey from her official Twitter account. The entertainer also included a picture of the packaging which gave a seductive look at the star.
The fragrance business for stars is a big deal. From Adam Levine to Jessica Simpson, having bottled perfumes is just another way to connect with the fans and make money on the branding of the celebrity. Most stars prefer to have smells they can not only endorse, but also wear themselves. No doubt Mariah Carey might be carrying around a bottle on stage too.
