According to TMZ Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey are already at war on “American Idol”. A few weeks ago this examiner reported on the tension between the two Divas and how “American Idol” producers were counting on the feud to raise numbers.
The producers may have wanted a feud but it looks like they will get an all-out war. Sunday night in NYC was the first taping of “Idol” and the two Divas went head to head. Every time Minaj would critique a contestant Carey would interrupt, not once, but many times. Carey’s interruptions prompted Minaj to get louder and louder talking over Carey.
An “American Idol” spy told TMZ that ladies tried to hide their disdain for one another; however “these girls just don’t like each other”. TMZ earlier reported that when the producers of the show called to tell Carey that Minaj was a possibility, they received a less than stellar response from Carey.
