Margaritaville resort will create 350 permanent jobs

Margaritaville a resort is still being planned for the City of Hollywood. A presentation on the $138 million project that will involve a 350 room, 17 story hotel will soon be built. The project is expected to mean 500 construction jobs, 350 permanent jobs and 3,000 direct and indirect jobs, according to a presentation that City Manager Cathy Swanson-Rivenbark made to the Hollywood Commission, according to an article by Susannah Bryan in the February 7 Sun Sentinel.
