Mardi Gras rolls on March 2

Purple, green and gold are the official Mardi Gras colors, but you can wear whatever you want. Revel in the fun at day two of the Original Farmers Market 25th Annual Mardi Gras celebration on Sunday, March 2, 2014, from noon until 8 p.m. Gather your crew for this Big Easy party. It's free!

Pretend you're on Bourbon Street when the Zydeco Mudbugs liven up the Plaza from noon until 2 p.m. The 2nd Line Saviour's Parade Band stirs up excitement by floating around from noon to 3 p.m. Let the kids create Mardi Gras masks or have their face painted from 1 to 4 p.m. in the Plaza. Floyd and the Flyboys swoop in with a mix of blues, soul and swing from 2 to 4 p.m. on the West Patio. Lisa Hayley & the Zydecats throw down Americana, Cajun and Zydeco folk rock fit for the whole family from 3 to 5:30 p.m. in the Plaza. Hear T-Lou & His Super Hot Zydeco Band sizzle on the West Patio from 5 - 8 p.m. Dance, sing and catch some beads!

Let the good times continue!
